Goal!
FIFA World Cup Soccer Posters

The Capital City Arts Initiative [CCAI] is delighted to present Goal!, an exhibition and fundraiser of art posters commissioned by FIFA for the 2010 World Cup games in South Africa. While those games have passed, these art works still hold the excitement and energy of the beautiful game, and they are all for sale!

The posters are on exhibit in Western Nevada College’s Atrium and Hallway galleries, both in the Bristlecone Bldg., at 2201 W College Parkway, Carson City. The gallery hours are 8am – 7pm. An exhibition reception will take place, Tuesday, January 24, 5 – 6:30pm, in conjunction with the Bristlecone Gallery reception for Sidne Teske’s show.

FIFA commissioned 17 artists from around the world to create images of the 2010 World Cup, the first to take place in Africa. CCAI has a premier collection of the posters, all certified. For additional information and images, click the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/ADwmRi25www
