Hong Kong Visitors at New Crop

New Crop
CCAI Courthouse Gallery
885 E Musser Street, Carson City
through September 4, 2012

On June 13, CCAI was honored with a visit from Jeff Leung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, San Francisco, and Wendy Au, Deputy Director. CCAI gave the visitors a tour of the New Crop exhibition at the CCAI Courthouse Gallery.

Ms. Au wrote: “We were very impressed by the craftsmanship and creativity of the artists in Nevada and what CCAI has done in nurturing artists. As you could tell, we enjoyed the gallery tour very much.

“As Jeff said, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is working to promote the art and cultural industry in Hong Kong. We are also working to build an art and cultural district at the waterfront that will house 15 performing arts venue/museums/exhibition facilities.  Here’s the weblink. http://www.wkcdauthority.hk/en/what_s_new/index.html

“Thank you again for meeting with us and showing us the creative brains of Nevada! We look forward to visiting Carson City again!”

CCAI appreciates Mr. Leung and Ms. Au’s time and interest in CCAI and the New Crop exhibition.
