Student Exhibition at the Brick
The Capital City Arts Initiative [CCAI] announces its exhibition, ART from SNC, at the Community Development Building [the Brick], 108 E Proctor Street, Carson City. Seven student artists from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada, have work in the exhibit. The free exhibition is available to the public from October 10, 2018 – January 10, 2019.
ART from SNC includes a wide variety of art including ceramics, painting, photography, and printmaking that show the diversity of the students’ creativity. The participating student artists include Lily Bennett, Piera Bernhard, Shawnie Personius, Vanessa O’Neill, Adrian Pinal, Chris Tunison, and Brianna Ruvo.
Sharon Rosse, CCAI Executive Director, said “Sierra Nevada College has been an important CCAI partner school for a decade. We’re delighted to present this second show of SNC students’ work in Carson City.”
ART from SNC is another in CCAI’s ongoing series of student exhibitions in the Brick. The Brick is open to the public Monday – Friday, 8am – noon, 1-4pm. The show will remain in the building’s lobby exhibition space through January 10, 2019.
The Capital City Arts Initiative is an artist-centered organization committed to the encouragement and support of artists and the arts and culture of Carson City and the surrounding region. The Initiative is committed to community building for the area’s diverse adult and youth populations through art projects and exhibitions, live events, arts education programs, artist residencies, and its online project
